  Maison AKANÉ breathes new life into vintage kimono and traditional textiles from across Japan, sharing their beauty with the world. Working with local artisans and research institutes, we plan and create upcycled products — clothing, bags, and more — from kimono fabric. Through international exhibitions and cross-border e-commerce, we bring both our upcycled products and vintage kimono from Japan to the world.

  At our Kyoto boutique, we offer both original products and carefully selected vintage kimono. In Kyoto and Shimonoseki, our Japanese–English–French speaking staff accompany guests through kimono dressing experiences and photo-shooting plans—popular among couples, families, and international visitors.
